Lesson One

Rediscover the essence of your Maiden

Welcome to Beauty is your Birthright!

Each class will begin with a video lecture from Dominique, followed by an audio visualization, writing exercises, and practices to integrate what you learn in the course in your daily life.

It is very important that you take this course in the order it is designed, and not skip around between lessons. Also, take AT LEAST ONE WEEK to integrate in between each lesson before you move on to the next lesson.

Write down the key elements you discovered in the visualization:
  • What did your maiden look like?
  • What did your maiden place look like?
  • What did you feel?
  • What message, if any, did your maiden have for you?
  • What are the 3 things from your maiden landscape that you focused on and breathed in that activated 3 positive qualities in the maiden?
PT 4

Practice to integrate

Take at least 1 week to practice the following as much as possible before you start the next class.

You should do this practice alone, in your daily life, doing an activity or not.

  1. Close your eyes, and hold your belly for a moment. 
  2. Imagine you are breathing through your feet, up your legs, and into your pelvis. 
  3. Turn your eyes inward, and imagine that they can go down into your pelvis. 
  4. Imagine your maiden landscape and your maiden.
  5.  How do you experience this moment differently when you bring your awareness and experience to your maiden living inside you and being part of you?

Doing this practice will begin integrating the energy you discovered in your inner world into your conscious reality. It is about your willingness and your curiosity to explore that connection.

  • In the visualization, returning to your nine-year-old, you discovered the part(s) of yourself that you “gave up” to adjust to your environment. How did those answers reveal themselves to you? Was it through a physical sensation, and/or an emotion, and/or a thought?
  • Where in your life today do you continue to do what you did at nine years old?

    Practice to integrate

    After you left your nine-year-old with your maiden, you returned to the conscious world. Since then, healing between them has been happening in your inner world. Let’s discover what it is!

    Repeat the Week 3 visualization, starting from the beginning until you arrive at your maiden's world (before you go into your nine-year-old’s home). Once you arrive at your maiden's world, pause the visualization at 15:02 and do the following:

    1. Focus your breath for a moment to inhale the Sun and the fire of the Earth into your pelvis.
    2. Ask the energy in your pelvis to reveal your maiden, your nine-year-old, and the healing that has taken place between them.
    3. Allow yourself to see them. What has positively changed in your nine-year-old since you left her in the maiden place?

    Write down the key elements you discovered in the visualization.
    • Describe the specific ways your mom altered the sacred maiden place. What did she do to the sacred world?
    • What did your mother do to your maiden? What did she say to your maiden? How did she interact with your maiden? How did it make you and your maiden feel as a result?
    • What is your maiden’s wound as a result of what your mother did to the sacred world and to your maiden?

    The event that played out between your maiden and your mother in the visualization is both archetypical and symbolic. The storyline expresses the root of the unconscious relationship between your maiden and your mother, which represents the original imprint that precedes all others.

    • Make a list of the negative patterns you’ve had in your life that you can connect now to what you discovered about your inner relationship between your mother and your maiden.
    • Think about what your mother unconsciously did to the Maiden and its effects. In what ways have you done the same to your Maiden?

    In this second part of the visualization, you created a new positive archetypical relationship, a new positive imprint between your maiden and you (the woman).

    • Describe how you repaired the adverse effect (even if unconscious) of your mom on your maiden.
    • Where was the cording?
    • What qualities did you express and demonstrate when repairing and healing your maiden and the place? What are the healing qualities you used?

    The qualities you expressed are part of your authentic energy and essence as a woman and healer that you will use to heal your maiden. The woman in you is the new rightful authority of your Maiden, not your mother. Her healing qualities you experienced are the positive medicines that your maiden needs.

    PT 4

    Practice to integrate

    1. Consciously activate the woman/healer you discovered by simply closing your eyes, holding your pelvis, breathing the Sun from above and the fire of Gaia through your feet for a few seconds until you feel grounded.
    2. Then, visualize and allow yourself to feel the healer in your body. Discover what she brings to your life!

    For those who had more than one mother figure growing up, you can redo this visualization by replacing your mother with another person. For example, your mother passed away, and someone else took her role.

    Write down the key elements you discovered in the visualization.
    • What negative belief(s) about life and yourself did you make up resulting from the past event that you revisited in the visualization?
    • Can you track how the negative consequences of this event have played out in your life moving forward? Are they still playing out in your life in some ways?

    In the second part of the visualization, you activated the woman/healer within to intervene on your maiden's behalf. In doing so, you replaced the negative imprint that resulted from this experience with a positive impression. In addition, you not only healed your maiden energy, but you also cultivated in yourself the woman/healer's positive qualities you discovered in Week 4. In doing so, you grew the positive relationship between the woman and the maiden.

    • Write down the new positive qualities you experienced in the woman/healer when you activated her.
    PT 4

    Practice to Integrate

    Let's create an affirmation for the woman/healer you have experienced in the visualizations of Week 4 and Week 5.
    1. First, come up with a few adjectives that best describe the woman/healer in you that hold the potency of her positive qualities.
    2. Then, write down your answers and put them in the form of an affirmation: I am ……[insert positive qualities]

    You can integrate these qualities into your life by doing the following exercise at any given moment of your choosing in any given situation you are dealing with. (You might have to leave for a few minutes if you are in the middle of an interaction with someone.)

    • Consciously activate the woman/healer. Close your eyes, hold your heart, breathing the Sun from above and the fire of Gaia through your feet into your heart.
    • Then, activate the qualities by simply saying the affirmation while you breathe in this way.
    • Ask yourself: What is the positive shift I experienced? What is the gift?
    • Open your eyes, go back to the situation, and discover how this internal shift affects how you respond.

    Note: You can also do this exercise when you are alone, being quiet, and doing an activity on your own to cultivate and integrate those qualities.  

    1. Before starting Week 6, think of another negative interaction you had with a peer when you were young. Then, redo the visualization to return to this past event and heal it.

    Lesson Six

    Uncover how your critical voice bullies your Maiden and activate the voice that counteracts the bully

    Visualization

    The purpose of your critical voice is to criticize you and make you believe that it knows the truth. It will do whatever it takes to hold power over you and persuade you that whatever it says is the ultimate voice of reason. The critical voice appears archetypically as something negative for the apparent reason it is negative. But sometimes, as you might have discovered in the visualization, it appears as something very positive. For example, I had a student whose critical voice in relation to her maiden showed up as the goddess Aphrodite, the goddess of love.

    • What shape or form did the critical voice take?
    • Did your critical voice try to hide from you?
    • What did the critical voice say and do to criticize your maiden place?
    • How did the critical voice undermine and criticize your maiden? What did it say to hurt her?
    • Is there a repetitive theme in what your critical voice said about your maiden?
    • What was your critical voice's key argument in judging your maiden?
    • How did your critical voice affect your maiden?
    • What negative belief does your maiden have about herself as a result of how your critical voice criticizes her?

    2. Write down the key elements you discovered while activating the true voice that can take a stand for your maiden by neutralizing the effect of your critical voice

    • Describe what is unique about your higher mind.
    • How does your higher mind contrast with your critical voice?
    • What are your higher mind's specific positive qualities that hold more power than the negative power of your critical voice?
    • What did your higher mind say and do to neutralize your critical voice?
    • What positive effect did it have on your maiden?

    The positive words from your higher mind are the antidote to your critical voice's negative words. Your god self sources them to counteract the lower vibration of the negative thoughts produced by the critical voice with the higher vibration of your higher mind.

    PT 4

    Practice to integrate

    1. What is going on in your daily life when your critical voice shows up? 
    • What is it telling you? 
    • As a result, what emotions do you experience about yourself that you can directly connect to your critical voice?  

    Be aware of any judgment you have about your critical voice! Being judgmental comes from your critical voice itself.

    1. Repeat this exercise whenever you need.
    • Close your eyes, and breathe the Sun above and the fire of Gaia below to ground yourself. 
    • After a few breaths, imagine that as you exhale, the Sun and Gaia walk your critical voice out of your body. 
    • When it is standing in front of you, activate your higher mind as we did in the visualization. 
    • Let your higher mind speak to your critical mind. What does it say that makes the critical voice shrink in front of you? 

    This is a way to witness the power of your higher mind not coming from judgment and how it affects your critical voice in a positive way.

    • Where did you land when the universe activated this archetype of the Damsel in Distress?
    • Describe the place where you discovered her.
    • How was the Damsel in Distress collective archetype revealed to you?
    • Describe her.

    1. Write down what happened when you breathed the Sun and Gaia to access your inner wisdom.
    • What answers did you get when asked what the place symbolizes about the Damsel in Distress?
    • Knowing that she represents the idea that "beauty comes with weakness," what did you see when you looked into her eyes? What did you identify that is specific to who she is? 

    1. Write down what happened when you walked into her body as a seer.
    • What negative belief(s) did this Damsel in Distress have that made her believe she was weak? 
    • Where did she hold these beliefs in her body?
    • What was the specific belief she had about the idea that “beauty comes with weakness,” that to be beautiful and be perceived by others as beautiful, you have to be weak, and that power would tarnish beauty?
    • How old was this specific archetypical expression of the Damsel in Distress?

    After you walked out of her body, you were continuously breathing the Sun into your body to activate the wisdom of your divine masculine, the authentic voice that can counteract the false masculine voice of the collective that made her believe those negative beliefs.

    • What truth did the Sun/divine masculine want the Damsel in Distress to know to counteract her negative beliefs about herself?
    • What did the divine masculine want to tell her about the beauty she embodies and how that energy is inherently powerful in its uniqueness? 
    • How did you feel when you allowed the Sun to beam its light into her body to heal and dissolve the negative beliefs held in her? What did you experience when this pure consciousness of spirit through the beams from the Sun penetrated her, clearing out this collective negative belief that to be beautiful, she had to be weak? How did it transform her?
    • Once she was freed from these beliefs, you looked into her eyes. You looked at her, her beauty. What did you notice about her beauty?

    Then you took her on a magical journey to the divine feminine/Gaia/the Goddess. The three of you (the woman, the maiden and the Damsel) returned to the sacred maiden place, you imagined the Earth opening up, and you fell into the Earth’s womb and visualized an umbilical cord pulling you down towards its center. You entered and traveled through her deep, dark, and mysterious waters. The flame/sacred fire burning at the center of the waters represents the transformative, creative power of the divine feminine within your body.

    • Describe how the sacred flame/fire burning at the center of these waters appeared to you. 
    • What colors did you see? 
    • What did the combined water and fire energies create and emanate around them?
    • What happened when you entered this energy field and allowed it to enter your body? 
    • What happened when you surrendered your body to the Goddess so she could heal an aspect of the collective negative archetype of the Damsel in Distress through you? 
    • What did you experience in allowing this healing to happen through you, connecting you to all women? What was the specific aspect of the collective that got healed? 

    You walked out of the flame, breathed the energy of the waters, and walked out from your body the damsel you healed through the Sun/divine masculine. Your Damsel went to stand in the center of the energy field of the waters and sacred flame.

    • What happened to your damsel standing in the flame?

    Then, you want through a process to allow the archetype of the Damsel in Distress to be transformed and purified.

    • What happened to the Damsel when she stood in the middle of the flame?
    • When the Goddess directed her energy to the Damsel’s root chakra, what negative energy did you feel being healed and transformed inside the Damsel?
    • Were there any shadows (negative beliefs or energies) from men or women held in this part of her body? 
    • Were there any shadows about the belief that in order to seduce you have to manipulate? 
    • Were there any shadows about how beauty can be misused? Describe what negative energies were being transformed.
    • When you asked the Goddess to rebirth and reshape her, how did the Goddess shape her in her purest expression? 
    • What new archetype of eternal beauty did she create? 
    • What was the experience when you brought her into your body and she became a part of you? 
    • Describe your experience when you, as a woman, felt both the maiden and this new feminine archetype of "eternal beauty" inside of you.
    PT 4

    Practice to Integrate

    It is best if you continue working with your critical voice. It will try to sabotage you from integrating this new feminine archetype in ways you are already familiar with and also by pulling some new tricks.

    Know that this new energy, the pure essence of beauty, is essential, but it is more important for you to live your life experiencing it and its effect on your experience as a woman.

    To live in discovery is the only way to integrate new positive energies that have been activated in your body, to embody them and integrate them as part of the self. When these energies are expressed through an archetype that represents them, it is easier and faster to access.
